We used the Juneteenth flag as the inspiration for the tie. The main symbol on the flag is the white star in the center. That had to be the main symbol we highlighted on the tie. The red and blue stripes from the flag were an easy addition to make this a true rep tie. There was some back and forth regarding the white stripe in the tie and how it separates the red and blue stripes. After talking it through, it was decided that the white needed to be represented more throughout the tie. It is also a nice contrasting color to help break-up the red and blue pattern. -
Statesman Tie’s Kenya Tie was designed to represent the Kenya Flag. Kenya's flag is black, red and green. We used the black and green colors and placed them on a red background (representing the red from the flag). -
