It’s Tuesday and you know what that means at Statesman Ties. Time to hear some fun facts about our featured country this week: Hong Kong, the country that inspired our Hong Kong tie.

Fun Fact 1:  The Sleeping Beauty Castle at Hong Kong Disneyland is the only one to feature natural mountains in the background (pictured below). Jungle River Cruise is the only ride where cast members guide guests in three languages: English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Fun Fact 2: Hong Kong boasts the most Rolls Royces per person out of any country in the world. It also boasts the most skyscrapers (building taller than 14 stories) in the world. New York only has about half as many! I guess it’s no surprise then that Hong Kong is also one of the most densely populated areas of the world.

My favorite fun fact: In Hong Kong, you can get married in a McDonalds for around $2,000 USD. It includes a balloon wedding dress, venue, and McDonalds food for the reception.
