Description

Statesman Tie’s Jamaica Skinny Tie was designed to represent the Jamaican Flag. The design takes elements from the Jamaican flag and mixes them together to create a tie that can be worn at any time for any occasion.

“The flag of Jamaica was adopted on August 6, 1962, the original Jamaican Independence Day, the country having gained independence from the British-protected Federation of the West Indies. The flag consists of a gold saltire, which divides the flag into four sections: two of them green (top and bottom) and two black (hoist and fly). It is one of only two current national flags in the world that do not feature any of the colours red, white, or blue (the other being Mauritania).” (Source: here)

When designing the tie, we wanted to incorporate all of the elements of the flag as well as the unique saltire. We wanted to maintain a classy design, so we laid some thin gold and green lines on top of a black background and then highlighted the actual flag in the bottom corner. We think it turned out classy and something we think represents Jamaica well.

The Jamaica Skinny Tie is a great gift for missionaries, businessmen, and anyone who loves Jamaica.

Our high quality Jamaica Skinny Tie is made with 100% woven silk and measures 61″ long x 2.5″ wide.
