“The flag of Mozambique was adopted on May 1, 1983. It includes the image of an AK-47 with a bayonet attached to the barrel. It is one of three national flags among UN member states that features a firearm, along with those of Guatemala and Haiti.

The rifle stands for defense and vigilance, the open book symbolizes the importance of education, the hoe represents the country’s agriculture, and the star symbolizes Marxism and internationalism.” (Source, here.)

Statesman Tie’s Uruguay Tie was designed to represent the flag of Uruguay. This is a tie that can be worn for many different occasions.

“The national flag of Uruguay (Pabellón Nacional) has a field of nine equal horizontal stripes alternating white and blue. The canton is white, charged with the Sun of May, from which 16 rays extend, alternating between triangular and wavy. The flag was first adopted by law on December 16, 1828, and had 19 stripes until July 11, 1830, when a new law reduced the number of stripes to nine.

The horizontal stripes on the flag represent the nine original departments of Uruguay. The Sun of May represents a new nation in the world.” (Source: here)

We used a unique turquoise color as the basis for the Uruguay Tie. It make the tie look more sunny, which relates to the sun that is used in the logo, which is taken from the flag. One of our favorite ties simply because of the unique color.

The Uruguay Tie is a great gift for missionaries, businessmen, and anyone who loves Uruguay. You can even add a personalized embroidered message on the back on the tie that the wearer will be sure to love!

Our high quality Uruguay Tie is made with 100% woven silk and measures 61″ long x 3.25″ wide.
