Statesman Tie’s Maryland Tie was designed to represent the flag of Maryland. For this tie, we used the flag encapsulated by a shield-like boarder as the symbol in the corner of the tie. Then, we used all of the colors from the flag as the stripes set diagonally on a black background. We think we created a classy tie that can be worn at any time for any occasion.

Regarding the flag and seal specifically: “The official flag of the state of Maryland consists of the 17th century heraldic banner with the colors and shield from the coat of arms of the Calvert-Crossland families of Sir George Calvert, the first Lord Baltimore (1579–1632). The flag was officially adopted by the General Assembly of Maryland (state legislature) in 1904.”

The Maryland Tie is a great gift for missionaries, businessmen, and anyone who loves Maryland.

Our high quality Maryland Tie is made with 100% woven silk and measures 61″ long x 3.25″ wide.

Customize your tie by adding an embroidered, personalized message to the back, making it totally unique!

We attach each tag onto every tie.

Represent Maryland with pride by showing everyone where you’re from, where you’ve been or where you’re going.
