Statesman Tie’s Panama Skinny Tie was designed to represent the flag of Panama. This is a tie that can be worn for many different occasions.

“The first flag proposed in 1903 consisted of thirteen horizontal stripes of alternating red and yellow, with a blue canton containing two golden suns, joined by a narrow line to depict the oceans to be united by the Panama Canal. However, this was not accepted by the Panamanian leader, Manuel Amador Guerrero, whose family designed a new flag.

The stars and quarters are said to stand for the rival political parties, and the white for the peace in which they operate. Blue was the color of the Conservatives, and red the color of the Liberals.” (Source: here)

Early versions of the Panama Skinny Tie were made up of really crazy red and white and blue stripes. Simplifying it down and still making it meaningful was important to us. Incorporating the colors of the flag as well as the full flag design for the logo made sense for the final version. We hope you like the final product (that isn’t too crazy).

The Panama Skinny Tie is a great gift for missionaries, businessmen, and anyone who loves Panama.

Our high quality Panama Skinny Tie is made with 100% woven silk and measures 61″ long x 2.5″ wide.

Customize your tie by adding an embroidered, personalized message to the back, making it totally unique!

We attach each tag onto every tie.

Represent Panama with pride by showing everyone where you’re from, where you’ve been or where you’re going.
