When designing the Ireland Striped Skinny Tie, we wanted to be as nationalistic and true to the country of Ireland as possible. We conversed with a very proud Irish-American about which colors we should use and found out that a lot of people think that green is the national color when in fact, it’s not. Therefore, we used blue as the dominant color for the tie and incorporated a green shamrock in the bottom corner. We think this design honors both colors as well as the national symbol and turned out to be something that represents Ireland well.
